Ransomware Database Restore
Your database server was encrypted or wiped. We find clean, uninfected backups and restore your data to fresh, hardened infrastructure.
Signs you are here
- Database files are encrypted or renamed
- Servers were wiped or locked
- Backups may also be affected
Until someone has taken a copy, avoid restarts, repair commands, and restores over the original.
How we approach it
- Work with your responders Coordinate with your security team or incident-response firm; we never touch evidence they need.
- Find a clean point Test backups and snapshots to find the newest copy that predates the attack.
- Restore to new ground Rebuild on fresh, patched infrastructure — never on the compromised host.
- Close the gaps Recommend backup isolation and access changes so a repeat is harder.
Questions
Can you decrypt our files?
No. We do not decrypt ransomware or negotiate with attackers. We restore from clean copies.
Should we call the police or an insurer first?
Follow your incident-response plan and insurer requirements. We fit around them.
